Projects Update
We’re so close to being finished!
O, I Am Slain and Safest In Your Arms are currently going through final touches in Sound Design. Both have been colour treated at Technicolor and just look awesome.
Both will be premiering at our graduation ceremony, August 19, 2011 at the Vancouver International Film Centre. The ceremony will feature 6 short documentaries, 4 independent shorts and 6 final projects, all from Film Production Class 136. Festivities begin at 12:00PM and will conclude around 4:30PM.
After the premiere, we will be making a push to circulate the films around the festival circuit, so keep checking up!
Current Cuts
Editing for “O, I Am Slain” and “Safest In Your Arms” is coming along very well. We are working with composing the shorts as well as getting out final picture lock by July 27. Once we are at that lock, VFS Sound Design grads will be taking over and doing foley work as well as mixing and SFX!
Both will premiere August 19, 2011 at our graduation at the Vancouver International Film Centre.
Stills and posters are coming soon!
Post Production, Begin!
Today marks the first day we have access to our footage for our finals. I’ll be editing “Safest In Your Arms”, Directed by Jeff Van Rens and supervisor on “O, I Am Slain”, Directed by Sean Flanagan.
By the end of the weekend, all sound will be synced with the footage and the edits will be coming along very fast!
Stay tuned!
